Introduction
This section of Recipe Manager will display information on products. You can view information such as Product Code, Pack Size details, Price and tag items as Substitutions.

You have the permission to access this area.
The supplier is set up and their catalogue has been loaded into the system.

Step by Step Guide
Once in Records, you will land on the Product Records page, see example below, where you can search either via 'Select Supplier' by choosing the Supplier name from the dropdown, each supplier that has been set up and have uploaded their product catalogue will show.

After selecting the supplier from the drop down menu, the table will automatically populate with all their products. You can refine your search further by choosing a Product Category, or Find Product by typing in the product name or item code in that box. If you want to see which suppliers supply a certain product, you can free-type the product type (for example Cheese) in the Find Product field and click on the Find button, the results will show on the page.
Click on the highlighted item name to view the details.
Each item's product record will have four key sections; Details, Stock Movement, Nutrition, Allergens.
Details: This will display basic details regarding the product. You will be able to view information such as Product Code, Supplier Name, Purchasing Category, Pack Size information and Price.
Substitutions: On the details page there is the option to tag the item as a substitute. You can tag the item to be accepted as a substitution but shouldn't be ordered. This can only be done if those items have been added to your catalogue by your supplier. Once an item has been tagged as a substitute, it's not visible to order when creating a purchase order but it can be added to an order during the booking off process and it is also available to record stock of when stocktaking.
Stock Movement: Stock movement will display information on pack size alongside allowing you to view a history of all transactions for all products. Simply select a start and end date and click 'Submit'.
Nutrition: If the supplier has submitted the relevant nutritional information, you will be able to view all of this within this section. This will display information regarding Carbohydrates, Cholesterol, Fat and other nutritional data.
Allergens: This section will display all relevant allergen information as per the product catalogue. You will also be able to see if the product is suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.
