Introduction
This guide explains how to add photos to a dish in Recipe Manager, choose which photo is the main one, and remove photos you no longer need.
A dish can have up to four photos. Photos are kept at the size you upload them, so there is no need to resize or crop them first, and they stay sharp when viewed full size or in Kitchen Recipes.
Assumptions
The dish has been created, and you have permission to update dishes in Recipe Manager. Without that permission you can see a dish's photos but not change them.
Where to find this
Head Office > Recipe Manager > Dishes, then open the dish
or
From within an outlet (if activated) go to StORM, Recipe Manager, then open the dish
Step-by-Step guide
Adding photos
Open the dish. Its photos are in the Images panel.
Click Click to upload, or drag and drop and choose one or more photos, or drag them onto the area from your computer. Photos must be JPEG or PNG files of up to 15 MB.
Each photo goes into the next free space. If you choose more photos than there are free spaces, the extra ones are not added and a message tells you how many. When a dish has four photos the upload area is no longer shown; remove a photo to add another.
Photos from an iPhone
iPhones save photos in HEIC format by default, and HEIC photos can't be uploaded. If you see the message below, either change your iPhone's camera setting (Settings > Camera > Formats > Most Compatible) and take the photo again, or save the photo as a JPEG and upload that.
Choosing the main photo
The first, larger photo is the dish's main photo. It is the photo printed on the Recipe Card PDF. To make another photo the main one, drag it onto the main photo and the two swap places.
Removing a photo
Click the cross in the corner of a photo to remove it.
Viewing a photo full size
Click any photo to see it full size. Use the arrows to move between the dish's photos, and the cross in the top corner to close it.
